Brief info
I am a born and bred Slovenian. I have been a tour guide for the last 25 years, making my hobby and passion into a serious profession and I love every bit of doing it. I have been travelling with groups throughout Europe leading Rick Steves tours and I know also lots of secret nooks of my own country, Slovenia. I am a mom of two teenage kids and my mission is to travel with them as much as possible. I am a foodie, I love to cook and I like to combine both with a perfect glass of wine. If a meal finishes with some dark chocolate, even better. I am an avid hiker, skier, a stand-up paddler, I love wild flowers and nature, I go on walks along seashore or on alpine hikes to find my peace. I have a masters degree in tourism management. I speak Slovenian, English, Italian, German and Croatian fluently and can come by with some French, Czech and Slovak. The motto in my life is "to travel is to live."
