Slovenia offers an abundance of medieval towns and cities. Three of our favourites are Škofja Loka, Kropa and Radovljica. All of them time capsules of the past with their own individual characteristics.

Explore the medieval streets and learn about the times passed. Škofja Loka is one of the oldest towns in Slovenia with legends etched in to the Gothic and Baroque facades. Nestled in lush forests of the Jelovica Plateau, Kropa is a hidden jewel famed for its iron forging  heritage and artisan soul. Discover how the humble blacksmiths shaped the towns identity and architecture, the clang of their hammers still echoes.
